GE’s Geeks go for #CC9900

Geeks go for #CC9900 (that's hexadecimal code for gold by the way) was the first global campaign ever created for GE outside of the US. As part of GE’s Olympic sponsorship, we created a ‘Geek’s Olympics’, which engaged 109,251 coders from 138 countries. The campaign created so much hype, an independent documentary called ‘Codebreaker’ was filmed in Europe detailing how the winner, Zoltan Szabo, cracked it.

Awards: New York Festivals bronze, Cannes finalist, Webby nomination, Spikes finalist.

The campaign launched on Twitter in binary code.
